About

Dunn & Hall Interiors is a boutique interior design firm co-founded by Mary Roberts and Megan Epple. With a shared professional background at Lilly Bunn Inc. in New York City, we joined forces and relocated to Austin, TX to establish our own firm in 2018.

Inspired by our mothers and their enduring influence, we proudly named our company Dunn & Hall Interiors as a tribute to them.

A proud native of Virginia, Mary draws inspiration from the region's rich history, natural landscapes, and timeless elegance. After graduating from Washington and Lee University, Mary moved to New York City to pursue a graduate degree in interior design at Parsons the New School for Design. Her first foray in the design industry began with internships with Elaine Stephenson Interiors and Bunny Williams Inc., before working alongside Megan at Lilly Bunn Inc. Her design style can be described by a bold use of color and pattern, with a nod to traditional design principles. Mary currently lives in Austin with her husband, Andy, and their miniature schnauzer, Bruce.

After studying interior design at Baylor University, local Austinite Megan knew that she needed to spend time abroad in order to find inspiration in any and all corners of the world. With that in mind, she moved to London to expand upon her design career after working for a design firm in Houston. As a lover of travel and exploring new places, Megan then set her sights on New York City. Megan's design sensibility leans towards neutrals complimented by a good pattern; therefore, meeting Mary was the challenge she needed in order to embrace bold colors. She now lives in Austin with her husband, Matt, and their Westie, Aspen.
